Like many guys, I built plastic models when I was a kid. I wasn't particularly good at it, but then I didn't try all that hard to do it well. Yet, I've always admired professional modeling. Much of the interest I have in science fiction movies is the use of miniatures and other special effects. I have recently restarted my modeling interests, and have dedicated this part of my website to the models I've built. Well, I suppose that it would be more accurate to say "the model I've almost completed building"! I've found that there is a lot of interest in modeling Star Trek and Star Wars. My interests, however, are more exotic. I prefer more unusual modeling projects. My current effort is both the Lunar Model's and Monsters In Motion version of the Seaview from the movie/TV series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
