"Freudian Theology" is the name of this image. It was modeled and rendered entirely in Caligari's trueSpace (version 2.0 at the time). However, it was necessary to build it in three separate sections, and composite them together (using Adobe Photoshop 3.0 ) to produce the final result. I found this to be a bit of a challenge since there was no simple way to break up the scene in this way. More than any previous work, I am asked about the meaning of this piece (if there is any). I always leave that up to the audience. But I enjoy the contrast between seemingly juxtaposed world-views; finding their commonalities, and abstracting them to siblings. |
