Time Piece is my first serious project using computer 3D graphics. It tied for 3rd Place in the 1995 Crystal Graphics National Art Competition in the Still Image category (sharing the award with another of my images in the gallery, Fly Paper)

Originally, the work was modeled with Caligari's trueSpace (version 1.0 at the time). However, trueSpace was not able to render it because of its size and complexity. The final image was created using Crystal Graphics' Topas (version 5.1), an old but faithful workhorse in my arsenal of graphics software.
