When I was a younger geek, my imagination was caught by the
television series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (originally a movie starring
Walter Pidgeon and Peter Lori). The writing for the series was quite awful, but the
miniatures and the special effects were impressive (for the 60's and a boy of 13). I have
always wanted to recreate the submarine Seaview; I did it with my computer.
The image was modeled and rendered with LightWave 5.0. It was a study for some
animation I was planning to do.
